Medical Education
At the heart of Gundersen's mission lies education - a vital component that helps us stay on the cutting edge and continuously improve the quality of care we provide patients. Inside our multi-disciplinary healthcare system, you’ll find a culture that offers a full spectrum of learning opportunities in a supportive environment. You’ll train to care for a diverse patient population at our flagship hospital in La Crosse, Wis., rural clinics and our state-of-the-art simulation lab.
Excellence in medical education
Our diverse, cutting-edge programs prepare the next generation of healthcare providers and professionals. Each year, 1,200 undergraduate and graduate learners choose Gundersen for advanced education and clinical experiences. Many of our students and medical education graduates continue to practice at Gundersen where they’re equipped with valuable continuing medical education (CME) and empowered to make a positive impact in the lives of our patients and communities.
