Hematology & Medical Oncology Research
During your fellowship, you’ll have the opportunity to pursue research projects to build your portfolio and improve patient care.
Overview
Our fellows take advantage of our excellent research infrastructure and are very successful in presenting their research at the local and national level, and publishing their work. We also have support through our designation as an NCI Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP) to carry out cooperative group trials and attend cooperative group meetings.
We are affiliated with ECOG, Alliance, SWOG, COG, GOG and RTOG. As such, you will have the opportunity to start building your research portfolio early if you're interested in an academic career. Alternatively, you may choose to focus on quality improvement or cancer care delivery research for those interested in general practice.
