Advance your career to provide critical care in emergencies through our no-cost training program.

When enrolled, you’ll start courses at Western Technical College. Gundersen will cover the cost of your education so you can focus on learning and growing.

Part of your experience includes clinical rotations to put your skills into practice. We'll support you with experienced paramedics from Gundersen, Tri-State Ambulance and Western Technical College.

When you complete the 1-year program, you'll have a paramedic position waiting for you at Gundersen. 

A few things you should know

  • You must be EMT certified 
  • You'll become a licensed paramedic in 1 year 
  • You'll be paid to complete coursework and full-time EMT wages, plus benefits
