SafeSitter Babysitting Class

SafeSitter is designed to prepare students ages 11-14 to be safe when they’re home alone, watching younger siblings or babysitting. The instructor-led class is filled with fun games and role-playing exercises. Students even get to practice rescue skills like choking rescue!

Cost is $45 per student. Please meet in the Education Center in the Lower Level of the Gundersen Onalaska Clinic.

Please have your child/children eat breakfast and bring a water bottle to class.

Upcoming sessions

The dates of additional SafeSitter Babysitting Classes and Safe at Home classes will be shared in January 2025. Safe at Home educates youth, ages 10 and up, on how to be prepared for staying home alone, including navigating emergencies and handling strangers.
