Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Personal problems or work situations can pop up when you least expect them, but there’s no need to navigate them alone. Gundersen’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offers professional, confidential assistance 24 hours a day to help employees and their family members resolve these issues before they become more serious. EAP offers up to five sessions at no cost to employees and their family.

Manager Services
Whether it's a job performance issue or something affecting staff morale, our EAP team is available to help managers or supervisors navigate challenges that arise with their employees. We also offer confidential and professional employee assessments and referrals, training and consultation and debriefing services to managers.
EAP: A Management Intervention Tool
Designed for managers, this training will help you deal with workplace issues by effectively using services available to you through EAP. You'll learn the Four Steps to Effective Intervention and the Supervisory Referral Process.
EAP Employee Orientation
This brief informational session will teach employees about EAP and how to access services.
Educational offerings
DOT mandatory supervisor training
This training satisfies Department of Transportation (DOT) mandates for supervisors. Participants will receive the required two hours of alcohol/drug information as well as education on current DOT regulations, drug testing requirements/procedures, reasonable suspicion and the Substance Abuse Professional Program.
Reasonable suspicion training
Learn to recognize warning signs and symptoms of substance misuse in the workplace. Develop a greater understanding of reasonable suspicion, identifying the warning signs and how to document and implement intervention methods.
Harassment training
Learn how to identify harassment in the workplace, assess your own behavior, familiarize yourself with company policy and the process for reporting harassment.
