Quick German meatballs recipe

Makes 6 servings (4 meatballs/serving)

Ingredients

1 ½ lb. lean ground round
2 eggs, beaten
2 Tbsp. dry bread crumbs
2 Tbsp. fresh onion, minced
2 Tbsp. dried parsley flakes
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. All-Purpose Pleasoning
¼ tsp. pepper
¼ tsp. garlic powder
1 ½ cups beef broth
3 Tbsp. flour
1 cup cold water

Preparation

Combine ground round, eggs, bread crumbs and seasonings. Shape into 24 balls. Set aside. Put beef broth into large sauce pan and bring to boil. Add meatballs to broth and bring to boil. Lower heat, cover and cook for 15 minutes. Remove cooked meatballs and place in serving container. Cover.

To make gravy for meatballs, skim any fat from broth mixture. In separate container, put 1 cup cold water and 3 Tbsp. flour and stir until flour is dissolved. Add to hot broth mixture and stir constantly until broth mixture boils for 1 minute.
