DOT Drug & Alcohol Supervisor Training
Event Details
Event Description
Gundersen educators are offering Department of Transportation (DOT) Mandatory Supervisor Training for area employers. The training is mandatory for supervisors of employees who have a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and are subject to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) drug and alcohol testing guidelines. This requirement also applies to other DOT agencies subject to federal testing regulations including Transit, Maritime, Railroad, Aviation and Pipeline. While the DOT only requires one-time training, we welcome those who want a refresher or new supervisory staff.
Training includes:
- Overview of the DOT drug and alcohol testing regulations
- Update on recent changes to the DOT regulations
- Alcohol and drug use and abuse
- Overview of all types of DOT testing including Pre-Placement, Post-Accident, Random & Reasonable Suspicion
- Presentation and question/answer session with an area DOT representative
This program will satisfy the mandatory DOT training requirements for supervisors. Certificates of Attendance will be provided for all participants. We encourage you, your supervisors, managers and union representatives to attend.
Class will be virtual. A confirmation email will be sent to users with WebEx virtual meeting details 1 week prior to training date.
