40Gundersen Health System is seeking a Sterile Processing Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our dynamic team!
What You'll Do:
Under limited supervision, the Sterile Processing Quality Assurance Coordinator will be responsible for applying quality assurance measures for the department. The Sterile Processing Quality Coordinator will be responsible for evaluating current and new regulatory criteria for compliance as it applies to industry standards. This position will be performing routine quality assurance checks, running quality data reports for metric tracking, validating standard work performance, and assisting the SPD Educator in providing staff education related to quality assurance.
Position Details:
- Full Time, 40 hours a week
- Location: La Crosse Main Campus
- Schedule: 8:00am-4:30pm, M-F with the potential to be flexible to work with other shifts occasionally.
What You'll Need:
- High School Diploma or equivalency + completion of an approved surgical tech or sterile processing tech program
- 3 years Sterile Processing Tech experience or 1 year Sterile Processing Quality Assurance experience
- Certified Registered Central Services Technician (CRCST) certification through the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) within one year of hire or Certified Endoscope Re-processor (CER) through the HSPA within one year of hire
