Dr B is an excellent communicator, took his time examining, explaining and giving injections to both knee and shoulder. Re-examination of hip replacement included x-ray. The Physical Therapy was granted as requested with attention to the location best for me. Splendid professionalism in every aspect.

Everyone from the check-in to the nurses to the doctor to the checkout, staff were very professional and friendly. Everything was explained very thoroughly to me by the doctor. I feel very comfortable getting my hip replacement done at Gundersen.

I was hoping to get a good evaluation of my knee and start a plan of action. Both objectives were met. Dr. B was thorough in explaining the options and steps that will be followed. His team members were thoughtful, pleasant and clear in their explanations.

What an OUTSTANDING doctor I can honestly say that I have never in my lifetime met a doctor who is so personable and kind, who is so clear and concise, who really knows his stuff, and who takes the time to answer all my questions and explain everything in easy terms that a normal person can completely comprehend. Not one time did I feel like he was "in a rush" and trying to scoot out the door (like must doctors). On the contrary, he made the entire appointment enjoyable (even though it was news I did not want to hear), he made me & my husband feel so comfortable and relaxed. Even my husband was over the top impressed! I wholeheartedly, highly recommend Dr. B to anybody who wants to see an extremely knowledgeable, kind & honest orthopedic surgeon who isn't just "cut happy", but actually is willing to talk about other ideas and alternatives. Just WOW

Dr. Bassuener is very prepared for appointments. He is aware of my medical history and my concerns, and does an excellent job of explaining test results and treatment options. I would definitely choose him as my surgeon for any future orthopedic surgeries.

My previous colonoscopy test results could not be found. Appt.was for 8:30. procedure was at 10 . Seemed like a long wait.

I have been been treated at Gundersen for a very long time staff and doctors always treat you with respect and and always ask if there's anything else I need and most of the time they have covered everything hurts and pain and where it is . Thank you to all who have treated me.
