I'm sorry to hear Dr. Koop will be retiring soon. He has been an excellent oral surgeon over the years. I hope you're able to hire another as thoughtful, kind, gentle and capable as him.

Dr. Koop was absolutely amazing he answered all my son's questions prior to treatment and explained everything!!

Only wanted to see Dr Koop and had to wait. Received 3 phone calls on cancellations with sooner appointments but couldn't make those. Dr. Koop is a provider that is worth waiting for. Gentle, kind, fun man who represents Gundersen well. He will be missed.

Any dental work makes me nervous. They did a good job of making me comfortable

I have a history of vertigo when lying down, and the tooth I needed to be extracted would be easier to remove if I was lying flat. Dr. Koop graciously allowed me to be reclined above the point where I would get vertigo. In order to accommodate my issue, he positioned himself in difficult positions to have access to my upper back tooth being extracted. He made each step in the extraction seem easy and pain-free. He has my highest recommendation for others who are hesitant to have tooth extractions due to vertigo issues when lying down.

Dr. Koop and his staff put me completely at ease, as I was feeling anxious about the surgery. Great team they are .

I was very pleased with the care we received. Everyone was great, right down to the volunteer, who wheeled my son out to the car.

The entire experience was very smooth and seamless. The doctors and nurses were well-prepared, the procedure went quickly, the post-op nurse was very clear, organized and friendly. Everything went very well.
