Joel A. Burnet, DO

I was under the impression my appointment was at 9:05 but I was told when I checked in it was really at 9:20. I would suggest the real time is told. I know many people are late much of the time. I am early.

My body decided the visit needed drama and I had a moment when I couldn't breathe. The MAs and RN were great helping me feel safe after that rocky start to the appointment

Everyone sufficiently answered my questions.

Dr. Burnet is a wonderful, caring and knowledgeable provider.

I did the early check in via computer before arrival but had to repeat all the questions with the check in desk. Dr Burnet was very thorough and did an excellent job overall.

Dr. Burnet went over all my records and added that if I had further problems that I would get a hold of his team.

Appreciated the ability to have a conversation with a provider and have them listen, especially at Gundersen. Gundersen is changing in a negative way as it moves away from its roots/heritage with name changes and walking away from their historic focus on the patient. It was truly refreshing to feel like a patient again and not a number. An exceptionally unique experience, which makes me sad this is the exception and not the norm.

There is no place else that I would even think of going, My Dr. is one in a million, takes his time, never makes me feel rushed, answers all my questions, and explains everything he is doing and why.

From check in to check out I had a very positive experience!

Dr Burnet was extremely kind, informative, and professional. He answered all of my many questions and had even done some research on an issue I had spoken to him about previously to give me further Direction and input. He is awesome!

Dr. Burnet has always been excellent in my care. Explains everything very clearly. I am glad that I am older then he so I will not have to switch to someone else because he retires.

I am mad about appointment time. Many messages told me what time my appointment was. I was there 15 min. Early. Found out that was my check-in time not appointment time. So I was there 30 min. Early. My time is precious too.

Hi, I love Gundersen. I love everybody at Gundersen. It's kind of like my second home. I spend a lot of time down there, but especially my favorite doctor is Dr. Burnet. I look forward to my appointments to seeing him because I love him so much. He's a born-again Christian and so am I. He prayed with me and everything. I just love him. The check out process and people doing it are extremely slow and cumbersome. Patients have other things to do also, so please improve this area. Dr Burnet does an excellent job and I do appreciate him, buy realize we have other things to do most days and would like to see a speedier process.
