Gundersen Health System is actively seeking a full-time board certified/board eligible Pediatric Intensivist to join a collegial group with great support and resources to provide the best care for the pediatric population we serve.
Practice highlights:
• 4 bed PICU/18 bed NICU/10 bed pediatric floor
• Collaborative team environment
• Approximately 120 admissions/year
• Flexible schedules
• Level III NICU/Level II Trauma, including ground and air Neonatal Transport Service and Neonatal
Emergency Telemedicine
• CME funding
We have a special interest in the ongoing development of our services for children living within the communities of our tri-state area and as such, have added to our staff a pediatric surgeon, pediatric anesthesiologist, and pediatric emergency medicine physicians, as well as a broad spectrum of other pediatric subspecialties; including, Allergy, Cardiology, Dentistry, Dermatology, Developmental and Behavioral, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Genetics, Hematology/Oncology, Neonatology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, and Orthopedic Surgery

Must have completed an accredited graduate medical training program and be board certified or eligible within the area of medicine stated. In addition, must have or be able to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations. Medical staff in our system will supervise advanced
practice clinicians. Medical staff may need to provide outreach service as part of their role in the system. Teaching students, residents, fellows, or clinical staff is cornerstone to our Medical Education philosophy and an expectation of all medical staff.
